MyDrives Rentals Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

Company: The car rental service provider.
Renter / Customer: The individual who rents the vehicle.
Vehicle: The car provided under this rental agreement.
Rental Period: The time from vehicle pickup to return.

2. Eligibility

Renter must be at least 21 years old (or as required by local laws).
Renter must possess a valid driving license for the type of vehicle rented.
Renter must provide a valid government-issued ID and proof of address.
Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet eligibility criteria.

3. Booking and Payment

Booking must be made through the Company’s authorized platform.
Payment must be made in full or as specified at the time of booking.
Rental rates are as quoted at the time of booking and may vary due to demand, taxes, or additional services.
Company reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to vehicle unavailability or maintenance issues.

4. Vehicle Use

Vehicle is for personal use only; commercial use is prohibited unless authorized.
Renter must comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
Smoking, transporting illegal goods, or carrying unauthorized passengers is strictly prohibited.
Vehicle must not be driven off-road, into restricted areas, or for racing purposes.

5. Insurance and Liability

Vehicle comes with mandatory third-party liability insurance.
Additional insurance options may be purchased at the renter’s discretion.
Renter is liable for all fines, traffic violations, and damages incurred during the rental period.
Company is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

6. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be collected at the time of rental.
Deposit may be used to cover damages, fines, or overdue charges.
Refund of the deposit is subject to inspection of the vehicle upon return.

7. Vehicle Return

Vehicle must be returned at the agreed location and time.
Late returns may incur additional fees.
Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, with a full tank of fuel unless otherwise agreed.

8. Damages and Accidents

Any damage, accident, or theft must be reported immediately to the Company and local authorities.
Renter may be responsible for the cost of repairs, insurance deductibles, or total loss in case of gross negligence.
Unauthorized repairs by the renter are not permitted.

9. Termination

Company may terminate the rental agreement if the vehicle is misused or if the renter violates any terms.
Upon termination, renter must return the vehicle immediately.

10. Liability Limitation

Company’s liability is limited to the cost of the rental and does not cover indirect losses or personal injuries.
Renter agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from all claims arising from vehicle use.

11. Privacy

Renter’s personal information will be used solely for rental purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the rental takes place.
Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
